Jack is a free soundbank for Arturia Pigments 4 and Analog Lab V synths. It contains 24 presets that reminds synth sounds from classic 90’s hardware workstation synths like our Massive X soundbank Perihelion.
Please note: It seems that the latest samples of Pigments 4 have not been included in Analog Lab V yet. If you do not own Pigments 4 the presets won’t be playable in Analog Lab V due to the missing samples. Supposedly this could be fixed after the next Analog Lab V update by Arturia.
The presets are based on the new samples of Pigments 4 synth and here you could find sounds like flutes, choirs, classic synth keys, electric pianos and a couple of pads.
Tips for this soundbank. Give some folklore dimension to the “Old Flute” preset using aftertouch to modulate the pitch. Modulate the distortion amount in “Classic 90’s” patch for interesting timbral change.
The 4 macros are assigned to stuff like delay, chorus, distortion and reverb. MW adds vibrato and Aftertouch pitch modulation.
All presets designed with Pigments 4.0.0.2935 (x64) and run best with this or newer edition
