Massamolla – Free “Springy” Percussion Samples
So, why is it called Massamolla?
Well, “massa molla” means “mass-spring” in Italian, and this really fits the mechanical and oddly machine-like nature of the included sounds.
A spring also resembles the shape of an audio waveform, so there you go. 🙂
Massamolla contains 99 audio samples in total (makes sense, right?) sorted into four different categories: bass riffs, melodic atmospheres, rhythmic loops, and one-shot samples.
Download this free sound library and explore a mesmerizing collection of abstract percussive noises, otherworldly textures and almost bizarrely vivid soundscapes that will add a sense of depth and richness to your audio projects.
The library contains 99 audio samples in total (makes sense, right?) sorted into four different categories: bass riffs, melodic atmospheres, rhythmic loops and one-shot samples.
The one-shots folder includes a selection of percussive hits and sound effects that were created by recording real-world objects such as doors, cans and various pieces of furniture. These sounds were then digitally processed and transformed into their final shape.
The rhythmic loops were mostly synthesized and post-processed using a variety of digital effects to create original and yet unheard grooves and evolving sequences. These loops work equally great as standalone rhythmic sequences and layering loops for adding depth and movement to your raw drum tracks.
